A family-of-four found themselves on Virgin Atlantic’s inaugural ‘Pride Flight’ on Friday.
The plane journey from London to New York featured an all LGBT+ crew and dozens of drag queens who brandished glitter and performed singalongs while the plane was in the sky.
It seems the Powell family, comprising of mom Kerry, her husband Sean and their two young sons, Calum, four, and Cody, one, were thrilled to be on board the fun-filled flight.
Queer publication Attitude Magazine shared a clip of the clan who were seated at the center of the unfolding action.

The video showed the two boys bouncing out of their seats as Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ blared from the speakers and a drag queen in a racy red outfit danced down the aisle.
‘This unsuspecting family accidentally booked on to the @VirginAtlantic #PrideFlight for their holiday – and they absolutely COMMITTED to the madness’, the publication wrote above the video.
Although the plane was filled with celebrities, journalists and entertainers, the public could also book seats on the flight, and Kerry Powell told DailyMail.com they knew they were going to be on Pride Flight.
‘We booked the flight in September 2018. Virgin then phoned us in October to inform us it had be chosen to be the Pride Flight.
They asked if we wanted to change flight which meant travelling on a different day which we couldn’t do, so we went ahead as planned,’ Kerry explained.
And the Powell clan were certainly glad they didn’t alter their flight, with the family enjoying themselves immensely.

Kerry told DailyMail.com: ‘It was brilliant, the kids enjoyed it, and the eight hours flew by.
‘The goodie bags were amazing and the celebrities chatted with us and took photos. Overall fantastic time!’
The four family members were part of the 284 people on board the flight – named VS69 in honor of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, which sparked the modern gay rights movement.
